Speaking Engagements

"You were an incredible hit. The presentation was outstanding , your topic was so appreciated, and your delivery was fabulous! Thank you so much!"

-Mary Wilcox, program chair,

OHSU Women's Health Conference, 2007

"Our group is still talking about you two days later. and it's all complimentary.  You understood the audience, and you presented with flair.  I  always enjoy watching people who know what they are doing do something well. It's not that common. You were a big hit."

-Ira Zarov, CEO, Oregon State Bar

Professional Liability Fund

Louise believes psychology can be fun, and that speeches and presentations can be especially fun, as well as informative and inspirational. Let her custom tailor a presentation for your group or agency.

  • Feature Presentation:
    Happiness

The topic was an unusual choice for the National Assocition of Bar Related Insurance Companies, but then, everybody would like to be a little happier. (Ask Aristotle -- he was convinced it's the only thing we're interested in!)
In this presentation, I tested the audience's emotional strengths, explained the nature of fear and love, and how they cannot exist at once, described the five top barriers to happiness and the five top tools for increasing well-being. It was a combination of neurology, psychology, and a tad of philosophy, presented with some whiz- bang graphics by professional graphic artist Tom Lichty. People actually seemed happier on the way out.
